WeatherFlow’s engineers design, build, install, and maintain weather stations with maximum up time at minimum cost. The stations vary in complexity based on their application from offshore buoys and Coastal Defense to surviving hurricanes.
The Mesonet allows Weatherflow’s Meteorologists to verify their daily micro-forecasts and gain local knowledge resulting in unparalleled forecast accuracy. Forecasts are done for the various consumer products but also have specialized in near and offshore sailboat racing, routing, and model verification.
WeatherFlow’s unique high resolution weather model known as WRAMS incorporates the learned Meteorological expertise from the Meteorologists as well as the Mesonet’s real-time precision. WRAMS is a key component to the WFS (WeatherFlow Forecast System) that adapts to regional nuances to create greater accuracy in extended ranged forecasting and ensembling.
