New Smyrna Beach, FL – WeatherFlow developers recently completed a new forecast module for sea surface currents. By request, developers began by adding forecasts of near surface water currents for specific North American waterways and ports of call. These data-sets produce forecasts at a resolution as fine as 30 meters. Modeled sea surface currents are now available for the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays, the New York City area, the Great Lakes, the Gulf Coast, and the Columbia River basin, amongst other regions.
