Historical Wind Data

Having operated a proprietary mesoscale observing network, now with over 400 stations and with some stations reaching back almost 25 years, WeatherFlow holds an archive of thousands of years worth of high quality real world observational data, much of it in the highly variable and sparsely sampled coastal zone.

This data has been used by wind energy planners, structural architects and engineers, marine and port authorities, weather researchers, the insurance industry, and construction code planning agencies to make crucial decisions and guide policy.

This data is available for purchase and use by the public, with pricing dependent on the intended use and amount of data purchased. The data is available in a variety of formats and with temporal frequencies as high as every 3 seconds. For more details, contact WeatherFlow Customer Support.
